The production of the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX has finally been made official. The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck is being manufactured at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP) in Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA. SHAP, which is located in a suburb north of Detroit, was built in 1953.
This plant used to be a place where the Army used jet engines as the Michigan Ordnance Missile Plant. The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX starts with a VIN No. 001 – a Launch Edition model endowed with an impressive anvil exterior paint job. The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX will be auctioned for charity. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has put in over $1.5 billion USD to cater to SHAP in its attempt to make the Ram 1500 TRX a next-generation invention. The money also aimed to orchestrate the future growth and expansion of Ram’s brand. The new Ram 2021 was originally introduced in the year 2018. Since then, the brand took a significant step by increasing its work capacity, with over 7,200 employees working hand in hand to produce award-winning pickup trucks.
The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is fortified with a 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 engine type. It can dispense a massive 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, all of which make the truck suitable for towing and lifting purposes.
