The front splitter and active grille shutters lower 2.5-inches when traveling at speeds higher than 35 mph. There’s even available four-corner air-spring suspension for a smoother, more comfortable ride.
What most people are excited about is that the Ram 1500 is lighter than it was before; despite offering all new equipment. In fact, some models are 225 pounds lighter than before. The newest 4×4 Off-Road package adds a 1.0-inch suspension lift, locking rear differential, exposed tow hooks, hill-descent control, skid plates, and 32-inch off-road tires. The Ram 1500 Rebel also made its way back into the market with some unique bodywork, 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, plus Bilstein dampers.
